It's been two months since I began my weekly watercolor project - adding an additional small watercolor painting to my weekly painting activities - and so far, I've been faithful. In fact, I'm a few paintings ahead, having just posted #11, Taking a Break, by the end of February. I've found that besides painting more, many of my weekly watercolors have served as excellent studies for my larger paintings. In addition, three of these paintings have already been purchased by collectors.
I am offering these paintings on my Weekly Watercolor website - www.weeklywatercolor.com - for only $100 each, including shipping within the United States, so art lovers will have access to a large selection of my original art at a very affordable price. Most of these paintings will be 7-1/2" x 11", suitable for a 12" x 16" or 14" x 18" frame. These gems are large enough to enjoy, and small enough to be hung almost anywhere. Please visit the site - there will always be new paintings to see. You can also sign up for automatic updates on the website home page, or on my supporting weekly watercolor blog at www.weeklywatercolor.blogspot.com
I'm excited about this project, and I hope you enjoy watching as a new painting is added each week. If you're not already a Facebook member, you will be given the opportunity to join at that time. Thanks for your interest in my art.

My weekly watercolor project is on its way. I've already posted four paintings on my www.weeklywatercolor.com site, and two of them have been purchased. So far, these paintings have indeed stimulated my painting activity in a positive way. There's a long way to go to the end of the year, and I'm anxious to see how all this turns out. Besides my weekly posting on www.weeklywatercolor.com, I also post each new painting on my associated blog, www.weeklywatercolor.blogspot.com. One big challenge is to get enough traffic to these sites for a successful sales program. Another is, of course to keep painting excellent watercolor paintings.

The attached painting, Early Snow, is #1 of the series.
